Start your free Vera AI trialWelcome to the Vera Academy. Course one covers what the platform does, and the three answers it owes you.
Lesson one. By the end you can say why this platform exists. The vendor prices this deal every day. You buy it once every three years. Vera evens that.
The rail on the left is the map. The front of desk group holds your daily reads, home, the dashboard, your work.
Contracts and documents is the paper itself. Proposals you upload, agreements on file, and search across every clause you hold.
Renewals and deals is the calendar. Every expiry date and notice window watched, so no renewal shuts silently while you look away.
Benchmarks and market is where prices meet evidence. Instant checks, delivered reports, and the research library. This group is where the three answers live.
Lesson two, the heart of the platform. After this you can state the three questions in order. First, what discount are you being offered, the percentage off list with the figures behind it. Second, what comparable customers are offered for the same deal, a plain range with its midpoint. Third, where the deal ranks, poor to top of the market, with the gap in money over the term. Every benchmark answers in that order.
Lesson three, one finished deal. After this you can trace a quote from upload to delivered report to money saved and proven.
Every delivered report opens with an executive summary in plain sentences. It interprets the deal, where the leverage sits, what a strong outcome looks like, and what to do first. The analyst's read, not a data dump.
Behind this format sits a real case in the sample workspace. A CRM vendor asked fourteen percent more on a renewal capped at seven. The quote went in for review, and the report that came back priced the gap, roughly twenty nine thousand dollars a year in reach against the market median seat price.
Notice what the pages do as they pass. Market position first, then section by section analysis, then prioritized recommendations, then the bottom line. In the sample case, the mandate came straight from those levers, the negotiation closed on evidence, and the saving was verified against invoices before anyone called it saved. Analysis that becomes a position, that is the product.
Lesson four, the map. After this you can find any feature. The More catalog lists every destination, grouped by the job it does.
The contracts group again, in full. Every reader and every search tool for the paper you hold, one catalog row each.
Vera is the analyst on call. Press control or command J anywhere and ask. Her answers are grounded in your data, and cited.
Proposals is the expert loop. Upload a vendor quote, an analyst benchmarks it, and a delivered report comes back you can forward.
Your Archive reads whole folders. Drop a directory of contracts and each file is read and filed by vendor, dates watched from then on.
Migration Studio is for day one at scale. It brings an entire contract estate across in one guided run, owners only.
Agreements is the register itself. Each one carries its expiry date and notice period, which is what makes every renewal alert downstream possible. That closes the map.
Now you. Open the example report and find the three answers in it yourself. Ten minutes, unaided. If one hides from you, rewatch lesson two.
Quick check. The platform's job? The three answers? Next, Course 2, finding your way.
