Every agent-run deal lives here as one record. The worklist puts what needs you at the top, and each row carries the annual value, the stage, who the case waits on, and the next action. One rule holds throughout: a case carries at most one pending human decision at a time.
Opening a case takes two paths. Automated is for the tail, pick the vendor, give the contact email, and Vera benchmarks the discount, writes the opening email, and runs the negotiation herself. Guided is for the deals that matter, where you review the strategy, the asks, and the opening email before anything sends.
As each vendor lands, Vera reads the market and states it in money, what your target is worth per year against your current spend. You set the guardrails, the sender name, and who rides CC. The vendor always reads a plain disclosure that an AI is negotiating, and you are copied on every email.
Now a worked case, end to end. The status path runs across the top, and beneath it sits the panel that answers the question every owner asks, what exactly did I authorize. The opening ask, the target, the walk-away, what she may do, what she may never do, and how she signs. Below that, the case file, every email and every system action merged into one chronology. Your messages edged in blue, the vendor's replies edged in gold, each with Vera's read of what the vendor is really doing. The shape of the whole product is here: Vera runs the negotiation, you approved the goal, and you decide every offer.
When the vendor makes a formal offer, the agent stops and the money leads. Three tiles: what you pay now, what the vendor offers, and what you would save. You take the one decision. Accept and close, approve the counter Vera has already prepared, or reject it and tell her what to push for. She counters again, as many rounds as it takes, and her concession steps shrink round over round so the vendor reads the floor. Step in and take the wheel whenever you want, the agent stands down entirely and hands back when you are done. And when a case closes, it books a verified outcome certificate, the baseline, the accepted figure, and the savings, which roll into the number your leadership sees.
Vera negotiates, you approve the goal and decide every offer. That is Case Mode.
