Shared work slips when nobody can see it. Tasks is the runway.

A clear runway is the goal state: everything assigned has landed. Every task carries an owner and a due date, and links to the vendor or renewal it belongs to, so the work stays attached to the record it serves.

One runway, four views. The board drags and drops through the stages. My day lists your own items in landing order. The ledger is the dense table, and the bench shows who carries what, including the pick up tray of tasks with no owner, waiting for someone to take them before a date gets missed. Press one through four to switch, slash to search, N for a new task. Click any card and the task file opens: status, due date, owner, and notes all edit in place, with a link you can share. Or hand a task to Vera. She reads the linked record, writes the finished work into the notes, moves the card to done, and tells you.
